Identify each agreement
Locate airtime terms, any device repayment document and any optional subscription. They can have different end dates and different cancellation routes. One payment screen is not proof that everything finishes together.
Read the upgrade conditions
Early device changes can involve settlement, a returned phone or condition checks. Ask for the exact requirements rather than relying on the word “upgrade”. Keep evidence of dispatch and the handset’s condition when a return is involved.
Think beyond the next phone
Consider software support, battery condition, accessibility and the equipment already owned. The allowance should reflect ordinary use, not pressure to change hardware. We can explain the questions but do not arrange a handset, credit or mobile contract.
