01A short history
1pMobile is a UK SIM service using EE infrastructure. Its own account, credit and plan rules are distinct from an EE retail agreement. The provider’s background and help pages are the useful starting points.
02What its features mean
The service describes physical SIM and digital SIM options. Read the current allowance or credit arrangement and its activity requirements; the brand name alone does not explain every current category.
03SIM-only arrangements
Check an allowance-based plan separately from credit-funded usage. Confirm compatible handset functions, renewal rules and the selected format before installation.
04Phones and upgrades
A SIM service does not automatically include a financed phone. Any handset obtained elsewhere keeps its own repayment, warranty and cancellation conditions.
05The monthly account
If selecting a recurring category, find its payment cycle and what happens on renewal. Ask whether a plan change affects a commitment or an existing credit balance.
06PAYG, credit and recurring packs
Read the current top-up and minimum-activity conditions for the exact service. Credit, active allowance and any account-maintenance requirement need separate attention.
07Digital SIM and replacement
1pMobile describes eSIM availability for new users and existing users changing from a physical SIM. Follow the account’s activation instructions and retain access to security checks.
08Bills, payments and extra use
For 1pMobile, place the official statement next to the contract summary. Identify the dates covered, recurring airtime, any device payment and additional services. An allowance reset may not match the calendar month. If an unfamiliar item appears, ask the provider for its category and supporting usage record. A spending cap can have exclusions, so confirm what it controls before relying on it.
09PAC and keeping the number
When moving a number away from 1pMobile, request a PAC through its official process or text PAC to 65075 from a single active line. Check the information returned about the existing commitment. Give a valid code to the receiving provider and let it arrange the handover. Keep access to both SIMs until completion. A replacement SIM, an internal plan change and a move between companies are not interchangeable instructions.
10Coverage, calling and faults
Use 1pMobile coverage and service-status information for the locations that matter. EE host network is background to the connection, not a guarantee at a particular desk or room. Check the handset’s supported calling functions and software. Record whether calls, texts or data fail and when. Reversible checks and a short log help official technical support; this independent website cannot investigate or repair infrastructure.
11Travel and international use
Use 1pMobile’s own overseas guidance rather than EE retail conditions. Check destinations, eligible number types and data limits before relying on the line abroad.
12Home internet and connected devices
For tethering or equipment beyond a phone, verify supported usage and device compatibility. EE hosting is network context, not a commitment to fixed-line household performance.
13Later changes and leaving
Keep 1pMobile notices about renewal, changed inclusions and scheduled adjustments. Find the date each commitment ends and ask what continues afterwards. Before stopping service, obtain an account-specific explanation of any outstanding device balance and early termination obligations. Use the provider’s cancellation route or the receiving provider’s switching process rather than treating stopped payments as cancellation.
14Account tools and a useful question
The relevant starting point is 1pMobile online account. Access it through a genuine provider link and retain copies of important confirmations. Ask: which agreement controls this change, when does it take effect and what remains active afterwards? Never share passwords, one-time security messages, eSIM codes or banking credentials with us. General explanation can be given without taking control of the account.
