01A short history
SMARTY appeared in 2017 as a Three-backed SIM brand. It operates its own dashboard and service rules, so a shared radio network should not be mistaken for identical Three retail terms.
02What its features mean
Account grouping, allowance management and any special data treatment have specific conditions. Inspect what the dashboard says about the active line rather than borrowing a feature from another plan category.
03SIM-only arrangements
SMARTY is centred on SIM service. Check the allowance, renewal and supported device. A SIM subscription does not automatically provide a new phone or a phone repayment arrangement.
04Phones and upgrades
A handset obtained through another seller remains that seller’s responsibility under its agreement. Changing or ending the SMARTY line does not settle unrelated finance.
05The monthly account
Renewal and the end of the current allowance period need to be understood separately. Find out whether disabling automatic renewal stops the next payment or affects the remaining active period.
06PAYG, credit and recurring packs
A renewable SMARTY allowance should not be treated as traditional credit-only PAYG without reading the conditions. Add-on rules and expiry can differ from the main plan.
07Digital SIM and replacement
SMARTY supports eSIM, including an existing-user swap from the dashboard. Keep the activation email and the separate confirmation information secure while following the official setup steps.
08Bills, payments and extra use
For SMARTY, place the official statement next to the contract summary. Identify the dates covered, recurring airtime, any device payment and additional services. An allowance reset may not match the calendar month. If an unfamiliar item appears, ask the provider for its category and supporting usage record. A spending cap can have exclusions, so confirm what it controls before relying on it.
09PAC and keeping the number
When moving a number away from SMARTY, request a PAC through its official process or text PAC to 65075 from a single active line. Check the information returned about the existing commitment. Give a valid code to the receiving provider and let it arrange the handover. Keep access to both SIMs until completion. A replacement SIM, an internal plan change and a move between companies are not interchangeable instructions.
10Coverage, calling and faults
Use SMARTY coverage and service-status information for the locations that matter. Three host network is background to the connection, not a guarantee at a particular desk or room. Check the handset’s supported calling functions and software. Record whether calls, texts or data fail and when. Reversible checks and a short log help official technical support; this independent website cannot investigate or repair infrastructure.
11Travel and international use
Inspect its roaming destination list and fair-use allowance. Large domestic data or permitted hotspot use does not establish the same conditions overseas.
12Home internet and connected devices
Check equipment compatibility and acceptable-use rules for any router or hotspot. A supported SIM format alone is not a guarantee of a reliable household internet connection.
13Later changes and leaving
Keep SMARTY notices about renewal, changed inclusions and scheduled adjustments. Find the date each commitment ends and ask what continues afterwards. Before stopping service, obtain an account-specific explanation of any outstanding device balance and early termination obligations. Use the provider’s cancellation route or the receiving provider’s switching process rather than treating stopped payments as cancellation.
14Account tools and a useful question
The relevant starting point is SMARTY dashboard. Access it through a genuine provider link and retain copies of important confirmations. Ask: which agreement controls this change, when does it take effect and what remains active afterwards? Never share passwords, one-time security messages, eSIM codes or banking credentials with us. General explanation can be given without taking control of the account.
