01

A short history

Three’s UK service began in 2003, during the transition towards 3G mobile internet. Its UK business combined with Vodafone UK on 31 May 2025. That corporate change is useful background, but the terms attached to a Three account still need to be read as Three terms.

02

What its features mean

Its consumer range covers mobile connectivity, phone arrangements and mobile broadband. Plan names can indicate different extras or travel conditions. Rewards, subscriptions and data allowances do not all perform the same role.

03

SIM-only arrangements

For a SIM-only line, begin with the allowance and commitment rather than a handset listing. Check the phone model, supported calling technology, SIM size and any data-sharing restrictions. A replacement SIM is not a request to bring a number from another company.

04

Phones and upgrades

Three Your Way separates choices about the device and its connectivity. Locate any device repayment document alongside the airtime summary. Ask what happens to each obligation on an upgrade, a return or an early move to another provider.

05

The monthly account

Pay Monthly means the allowance and billing follow an agreed account cycle. Check the minimum term, any scheduled adjustment and whether optional extras continue automatically. The final device payment and the final airtime payment may occur at different times.

06

PAYG, credit and recurring packs

Three’s PAYG voice service has its own pack and top-up guidance. Treat an active Data Pack, unused credit and automatic renewal as three separate things. PAYG mobile broadband is another support category, so choose the instructions for the service actually held.

07

Digital SIM and replacement

Three describes replacement eSIM routes for monthly and PAYG accounts through My3 or its app. Check the model first, retain a way to receive security messages and use the provider’s installation sequence rather than experimenting with repeated profile deletion.

08

Bills, payments and extra use

For Three, place the official statement next to the contract summary. Identify the dates covered, recurring airtime, any device payment and additional services. An allowance reset may not match the calendar month. If an unfamiliar item appears, ask the provider for its category and supporting usage record. A spending cap can have exclusions, so confirm what it controls before relying on it.

09

PAC and keeping the number

When moving a number away from Three, request a PAC through its official process or text PAC to 65075 from a single active line. Check the information returned about the existing commitment. Give a valid code to the receiving provider and let it arrange the handover. Keep access to both SIMs until completion. A replacement SIM, an internal plan change and a move between companies are not interchangeable instructions.

10

Coverage, calling and faults

Use Three coverage and service-status information for the locations that matter. Three / VodafoneThree is background to the connection, not a guarantee at a particular desk or room. Check the handset’s supported calling functions and software. Record whether calls, texts or data fail and when. Reversible checks and a short log help official technical support; this independent website cannot investigate or repair infrastructure.

11

Travel and international use

Read the specific Go Roam rules attached to the account and destination. Domestic data, a travel pass and calls from the UK to another country have different conditions. Confirm exclusions before using the line on a ship or aircraft.

12

Home internet and connected devices

A Three home router depends on mobile signal at the property. Run the broadband address check, think about the room and window position, and assess household video calls and uploads as well as download activity.

13

Later changes and leaving

Keep Three notices about renewal, changed inclusions and scheduled adjustments. Find the date each commitment ends and ask what continues afterwards. Before stopping service, obtain an account-specific explanation of any outstanding device balance and early termination obligations. Use the provider’s cancellation route or the receiving provider’s switching process rather than treating stopped payments as cancellation.

14

Account tools and a useful question

The relevant starting point is My3 / Three app. Access it through a genuine provider link and retain copies of important confirmations. Ask: which agreement controls this change, when does it take effect and what remains active afterwards? Never share passwords, one-time security messages, eSIM codes or banking credentials with us. General explanation can be given without taking control of the account.
